About Us
A Passion for the Sea
From our office in İçmeler, Bodrum, we design private yacht charter experiences in the most beautiful bays of the Aegean and the Mediterranean.
Salmakis Yachting
Who We Are
Born in Bodrum, where the centuries-old history of the Aegean meets the sea, Salmakis Yachting has been offering its guests a privileged way of discovering the unique coasts of the Aegean and the Mediterranean from the sea since 1987.
We take our name from the legends of Halicarnassus, the ancient name of Bodrum. In ancient Halicarnassus, Salmakis was the name of a spring regarded as sacred and of the water nymph identified with it. Handed down from Bodrum's mythological past, the name symbolises water, beauty and the timeless spirit of the Aegean.
For us, Salmakis is not just a name; it is a reflection of the land we belong to, the seas we have known for generations and our passion for seafaring.
Today, Salmakis Yachting is a Bodrum-based charter company offering tailor-made yacht charter experiences along the coasts of Türkiye and Greece with its select fleet of luxury gulets, motor sailers and motor yachts.
Our Experience
In our own shipyard, to our own standards
Our bond with the sea is not limited to our routes. Most of the yachts in our fleet were built at our own shipyard, Neta Marine, in line with our seafaring experience and the standards we have shaped over the years. Queen of Salmakis, in turn, was specially commissioned by Salmakis Yachting, with every detail carefully planned.
That is why we see every yacht in our fleet not merely as a boat we charter, but as part of the Salmakis experience.

Our Approach to Service
On every journey from Bodrum to the hidden bays of the Aegean and the Mediterranean, and from the Turkish coast to the Greek islands, we bring together our local knowledge, our experienced team and our personalised approach to service.
Understanding our guests' expectations, choosing the right yacht and route, planning every detail of the journey with care and turning the time spent at sea into an unforgettable experience have formed the basis of our approach, unchanged since 1987.
- 01
Planning around you
The route, menu and activities take shape together, according to our guests' pace, expectations and the sea conditions.
- 02
A clear, understandable offer
We tell you clearly from the outset what the weekly rate covers, how the APA system works and which services are extra.
- 03
End-to-end support
From the first moment of your enquiry to the last day of your journey, you are in direct contact with a single team.
Because for us, yachting is not just about travelling from one destination to another.
It is about discovering the sea at your own pace, feeling the spirit of the Aegean and living a story you will remember for years to come.
Crew
Our Professional Team
The crew on our yachts consists of a captain, chef, hostess and deckhands. Our teams are trained for the safety and comfort of our guests and provide full service, from meals to cleaning and from table service to daily activities.
A good crew senses when a guest expects attention and gracefully steps back when privacy is wanted. For us, luxury is exactly this balance.
